  September 25, 2017 - Beautiful dark ruby. Moderate nose of cherries, alcohol and some evolved funk. Medium body, interesting sweet & sour cherry flavors, with forest floor lurking. Soft but firm tannins; very long finish from the acidity and fruit. Above all, well balanced - this wine is greater than the sum of its parts. Enjoyable on its own, better with food (braised lamb and polenta).
