September 29, 2017 - Screwcapped.
Medium intensity pale yellow approaching pale gold.
Tiny bit of petrol which blew off quickly but also still has plenty of fresh lemons transitioning to sweeter citrus fruits. Nose became more reserved throughout the night.
The taste I think pretty much reflected the nose but also has some nice minerality and still has great acid. Finish was long.
Was tasted in a flight with the 07 Grosset Springvale and the PH looked, smelt and tasted more complex and younger.
This is a very good wine that has gained some complexity with age but is still a baby and will easily hold another 5 years especially thanks to the screwcap.3 people found this helpful 1,867 views
