September 30, 2017 - An epic style of wine. Reading some of the reviews prior to opening had me both curious and concerned. The American oak is massive and leads the way. Though the acid cuts through just enough to keep it bearable. This is one to put to sleep for ten years as an each way bet. Time will tell if it all meshes together into something special.
