October 4, 2017 - Drank a week after Monte Bello of the same vintage, and this compared nicely. Build a little more fruit forward, oak a little more modern/hanging out there compared to the Monte Bello's finesse. Fruit not as deep either. But at half the price this is 80% the wine, built for less closely considered, more opulent drinking. Great stuff.
