October 10, 2017 - Delicious, powerful, complex, long, tobacco, layers of fruit, ample tannins, beautiful package.

10/10/17, 11:33 AM - Glad to hear these are coming along Chris! I've got 7 of them left, started with 9. Drank one in '11 - pure infanticide. Then a second a year ago, which hit me as needing more time to shed a little weight.

My opinion on when to drink Brunello has changed a bit of late though - it accelerates into the drinking window pretty quickly once it's close, and fades out of it pretty quickly too.

I was going to wait for 2022 to try another - now I think I'll schedule that for Christmas time 2019.

    Thanks!

10/10/17, 1:19 PM - My daughter put her glass through a vinturi, too big and closed to her palate on opening. I tried it a while later and just let mine sit in the glass and swirled for a while. Certainly still very young on its aging curve.
