October 6, 2017 - Over lunch. Dark red color. Remarkable nose with dark cherries, balsamic, earth that just grew over time right after opening. Tons of rich fruit and I could have been fooled if told this was from Boudots. Very silky and penetrating with dark raspberries, spice, menthol. Contrasted with the excellent '01 Poggio Antico, it was the preferred wine. Still a bit tight, but very drinkable now. Excellent finish.
