  October 15, 2017 - Drank over 2 days with initial 2 hour decant. Deep ruby colour with purple hue. Modern style wine showing ripe black fruits (2010 was a great vintage with well ripening grapes - this might seen a bit too much sun). On the mid palate it falls a bit short but makes up with a long finish which I contribute to its generous oak treatment. Could not detect any significant difference on the second day. Overall a nice wine I could see myself bringing as a gift to some of our none wino friends which prefer less acidic wines. Comes in a heavy bottle - first appearances count.
