  October 20, 2017 - This wine was something of a disappointment. Meshach is one of my favourite Australian wines, but this bottle did not live up to expectations.
  
  The primacy of the fruit had given way to a generic, almost bland sweetness, on the front palate. There were some ageing notes evident through the mid-palate, but these were overpowered by that sweetness. The tannins were supple and there was still some acid evident on the finish. Overall a very disappointing experience. I hope my other bottles present better than this.
  
  This was bought from Langtons, and I suspect that the provenance was not up to scratch. Not happy!
