October 31, 2017 - No formal notes but the wine was very youthful at 10 years of age. Opened the bottle and let it slow Ox for 1 hr and drank over 3. Was very tight at first but it continued to get better over time. Sadly the best glass was the last.
Deep crimson in color with a nose of red currants, cedar, cocoa, and a citrus notes. The palate was round full of cherries, some leather and earthy notes. Very integrated tannins nice acidity and mid lenght finish. It drinks like a Yauntville wine...wonder if Malbec got some fruit from Blankiet and Kapcsandy for this wine.1,111 views
