November 10, 2017 - This is an outstanding bottle, and for me a quintessential Margaux. Still more purple than ruby with excellent legs. The nose on this is perfumed, exotic, and sexy. Beautifully rendered fruit in the mouth, absolutely exciting, rich, and flavory. Feminine, voluptuous and alluring. This is drinking right in the middle of its peak, with no signs of decline but no reason to delay the immense pleasure it now provides. Certainly the best wine from this estate that I can ever recall having. Outstanding. 5-13-18-9: 95/100.

1/11/18, 12:16 AM - Thanks for sharing your experience! I agree, this is a great wine. But I would not say that it is in the middle of its peak. I actually find it to be very, very young and would allow it at least another ten years in the cellar, and would also expect the wine to continue to drink well for at least another ten to fifteen years thereafter. The best wine I have had to date was a 1983 Château du Tertre (about a year ago), so depending on your preferred style this 2009 still has a very long way to go... Cheers!
