April 5, 2008 - Excellent value an easy 88+. Appearance was clear, deep dark ruby in color with a pale rim at the edge. Clean on the nose with pronounced intensity vegetarl and fruity aromas of blackfruit - black cherry - sweet spice and a hint of pepper. Dry on the palate with mild acidity and medium + tannins. Flavors of blackfruit, plum, black cherry and hints of oak. Full bodied with high well integrated alcohol and a long finish. A very good wine with a great QPR that is developing and while ready to drink now will age well.
