  November 23, 2017 - Decanted for two hours and then poured back in bottle. Moderate-to-heavy sediment. Ruby color to the edge. Floral nose of dark berries and leather. Intense, full-bodied dark fruit on the palate, well-structured by bright acids and lively tannins. A very long finish and the promise of many years of life ahead. A good, but not great, Ornellaia. Of course, like sex, even a bad Ornellaia would be good.
