  December 3, 2017 - About as good as Syrah gets. Now very smooth, somewhat reticent nose at first, then gradually becoming more exuberant over the next hour with lots of dark fruit notes and some spiciness. Enough acidity to keep it fresh. Probably peaking now.

  12/3/17, 4:54 PM - Thanks for the note. A Chave Hermitage peaking at only 11 y.o. would be very surprising though, this is just a baby by Chave standards!
