  December 5, 2017 - opened and let sit 6 hrs. nose shows dark blue and black fruit, eucalyptus, and some great herbal aromatics. fruit slips to the background on the attack, where this is in a bit of a dumb phase. the midpalate and finish continue to deliver, with black pepper, clove, eucalyptus, blackberry, plum, and blueberry. tannic structure is really great. once the attack comes out of this dumb phase, this is really shaping up to be great -- sadly, this was my last bottle!
