  December 16, 2017 - Better than the previous bottle. The odd smell was gone and what was left was a solid, straight-forward Syrah. Dark fruits, full but not distracting tannins, and enough backbone to last several more years. A slight amount of sediment was present. Not the best QPR, but a decent wine that I wouldn't hesitate to drink again.
