  December 22, 2017 - Very impressed! Deep color and firm tannins shows close attention to extraction methods. likely concentration from low yields, paying close attention to development of the skins, careful pressing, perhaps pre maceration and long post maceration. More of a masculine style than the floral Fleurie. perhaps due to the soil. No obvious oak on nose/palate yet possibly maturation in large oak casks.
