  January 1, 2018 - Four hour decant before tasting. Dark ruby/purple in the glass. A lot of dark fruit, plums and olives on the nose which carry over into a well-integrated mouthful of plum, black fruits, olives and herbs with hints of peppers & chocolate. Wow! By the 6th hour this wine was singing - so well structured and delivers a wonderful lingering finish. Highly recommended; but remember this is young and will definitely benefit from 4-5 yrs cellar time. [2017 Snowbound Event]
