  January 3, 2018 - Opened with 5 hour decant through WineBreather. A dark, dark ruby in the glass with a big nose focused around blackberries, dark plum and hints of smoky blueberry compote. On the palate - a rich mouthful of those same black fruits - a lot of black fruits - but well integrated into a solid structure of smooth tannins. This beauty continued to open over the tasting showing layers of berries, smokey forest notes, spices and a touch of vanilla. Long mouth-coating finish. [2017 SnowBound event].
