  December 31, 2017 - Light garnet with orange-red edges. Bursting nose of ripe red cherry, rose and lily. Secondary notes of new leather. Medium body with silky mouthfeel and tingling acidity. Long gripping finish of new leather and some toasted wood. Some bitterness on the rear palate that seems to dissipate with time. Beautiful now - early drinking for a 2010, but still with holding potential.
