  January 11, 2018 - I am happy to report that this bottle was much better than the last one I drank. Must be some bottle variation. The wine has a light red color; and the nose has hints of red violets. On the palate it has light red cherries and some spice with a light to medium body. On the finish, however, it is a little hollow on the mid-palate. I agree that is has somewhat low acidity, with light red fruit and light tannins.
