  January 16, 2018 - Decanted for three hours then consumed over two nights. This wine is certainly taking the slow road to maturity, but I do like its direction. The structure is finally resolving. There is a softness to the wine, cottony. but it also suggests a sense of power. Beautiful fruit brushed with cedar, it does need to add some weight and complexity. Still too young but a joy to drink now anyway. Night two was a bit more forceful.
