  April 24, 2008 - Bittersweet opening for this wine, it needs some time to come together. Closed nose, with glimpses of cherry, lavender and a bit of truffle. Tight and tannic, it really locks down the tastebuds. However, there is a beautiful wine in waiting. You get a flash of the fruit, with the acidy that presents a wonderful tartness. Let this baby sleep, I think in 5 years it will be somewhere special. This will be a great ringer at an offline someday, and you'll have everyone floored with a 100% Fer Servadou.
