  February 17, 2018 - Low/mid opacity with deeper garnet than most. Very plush nose with blackberry jam, tar, crushed black cherries, licorice, and some leather. Medium+ body, chewy tannins, rather subdued acidity, and lots of lush dark fruits. Long finish of dark crushed fruits and tobacco. Clearly a plush, fruit-driven style of Brunello. Lacks finesse in my opinion, but bold and well-constructed.
