February 20, 2018 - I was in a French bistro mood so with homemade steak au poivre, mashed potatoes, creamy mushrooms and kale we opened the 2010 Chateau du Tertre.
It seems that every 2010 Bordeaux I open is ready to play, this one had a vibrant purple color, subdued nose (that's me for every wine I drink now, I should stop mentioning nose), and on the palate smooth tannins, good core of dark fruit, earthy and full bodied. Great with the rich food, good balance but a bit lacking in the mid and the finish could be a tad longer but I really loved it. 932 people found this helpful 3,985 views
