February 21, 2018 - Bought this for a Bordeaux themed dinner a long time ago but wasn’t opened that night. Finally popped it to go with a steak dinner. Drank over two nights. Green bell pepper, jalapeno notes on the nose, espescially right after opening. Darker fruits like blackberries, plums, with a earthiness on the finish. This is a balanced wine. 12.5% alcohol, not hot, oaky or overy tannic. Full bodied with a lush texture midpalate. Ned and I both prefer a lighter style but this was a solid bottle.
