  April 30, 2016 - Decanted for 2 h. Dark garnet. A-Dark crushed berries, earth, bark with a hint of unsweetened root beer, almost brothy sous bois. P-Equal red/black berries, earth, a hint of unsweetened root beer, bark, hint of damp forest floor/leaves. Mild tannins on midpalate. F- Leaves, earth, bark, fruit, tannins. Long and lingering. Just entering into secondary flavors. Nice to catch this in its evolution. Surprised that it's not shut down. Lovely but wait another 2-5 yrs before opening next one.
