  March 23, 2018 - I've never had a wine I intellectually wanted to hate but my palate loved. There is obvious residual sugar, but also plenty of acidity. Plenty of American oak, but also plenty of fruit to counterbalance it. Color is almost black. Overall the experience is like watching the Incredible Hulk perform ballet. Very Good+.
