    March 25, 2018 - The bottle presented strong notes of black olives (others described as pickle juice) with recessed blackberry. Not sure if it’s just bottle variation or if the wine is fading fast.

    3/26/18, 10:55 AM - I don’t think this wine will age very well as it’s rather ripe with modest structure. If it goes to sleep, it’s not waking back up.

    3/26/18, 12:09 PM - I am hoping it is bottle variation. I tried this wine a short while ago and I thought it was way young. It is my understanding that this wine was made from young vines (I think this was the first wine from these vines). Which means it likely won't hold up as well as wine from more established vines, but it is syrah, and no matter what, I think it should be good for a few years!
