  March 24, 2018 - Nose: Plum, blackberry, turned earth, cigar and spice notes. Palate: Great palate weight giving dense plum notes, but the red fruit had focus. Acidity keeps it fresh as the wine delivered graphite, floral and muddy earth notes. Finish: Resonating dark fruit, tobacco and earth.
  
  The 85 Cos continues to show great. I prefer this to the more voluptous 86 which spill over into roasted fruit too often. Charming and fresh I'll keep drinking this while it is in top form.
