  April 15, 2018 - I normally only comment on wines from my cellar, but this one deserves a post. Thanks to Doug in our wine group for bringing this gem. It won WOTN by more than half of our group of 12. To me, it had almost every feature of a perfect wine including balance, complexity, tertiary flavors of tobacco, cedar, chocolate, vanilla, and incense. However, the only reason I cannot give this a perfect score is that I wish it had more density, as it was it was lighter than expected. A beautiful wine that is worth the current price ($300) it's going for on wine-searcher right now. Whoever bought this on release before Chateau Latour increased the prices, you are very lucky!

  7/29/18, 9:52 PM - I bought it for $140 plus commission on auction. Total wine $460 I believe.
