  April 19, 2018 - The nose reminded me of 1967, but not as multifacetted. The colour is a bit lighter than the 1967. This is a wonderful Yquem, which is still fresh and full of vigour. It still oozes of primary botrytis and glue with some tertiary aromas underneath of chantarelles, shoe polish and grilled corncobs. Full bodied (heavier than the 1967) and great length. Bravo!

  4/23/18, 5:40 AM - I really like the less fat and more elegang vintages, so my favourites are 1967, 1975, 1986, 1989 and 1996 (note that these are also very good years for left bank reds, even if people say there is no correlation...) I prefer these to the Parker favourites, e.g. 1990 and 1997
