  April 29, 2018 - I found this bottle to be drinking very well at the moment. For sure, it is not a big, jammy Zin packed with flavor. I didn't try it in its youth, but I'd wager it was never like that. At this age, it is very dry and subtly fruited, with some tea like nuances and is more reminiscent of dried fruit. Some Zin pepper in there too. Good balance with good length on the finish. Really enjoyed this. I disagree with those that think this is past its prime, at least for my palate, but I shy away from the big super fruity Zins.
