  May 6, 2018 - I've had South American malbecs and cahors before but this feels like the most serious one I've gotten anywhere near. It's fantastic. I have yet to open a Jean Edwards wine that's anything less than magnificent and this continues the trend. I'm not an expert but it does feel young, and like the parts are still assembling themselves but with about 30 minutes of air, it was complex and delightful. The nose is a little more floral and forthcoming than the taste at the moment, but holy smokes that's hardly a flaw.
