  May 15, 2008 - WOTN. Decanted for 30 minutes then consumed over the next 3 hours.
  
  Beautiful red-purple color; intense cherry, tobacco, leather (with a hint of rose petals) nose; intense fruit and finish. Great balance. Difficult to find areas for improvement. Best between 1.5-2.5 hrs, but incredible peaks throughout.
  
  BTW -- the only times I've had Karl Lawrence wines that weren't amazing were when the wine was served hot (above 70 degrees), stored hot, or corked....
