  May 15, 2018 - I would not go as far as saying the bottle was defective, maybe borderline going bad. It was definitely a bit off - based on the other '88 bottles we have had of this wine. With this particular bottle the color was very dark brown with just a bit of rusty red, the nose is old soil and the flavor void of fruit. Overall had a musty smell and taste.
