  May 27, 2018 - Inky-black, amber at rim; intense cassis, black cherries, plums, cigar, cedar, vanilla, mint; crème de cassis, plummy/berry, earthy, slick, medium-full body, good acidity, good structure, fine chewy tannins, lingering finish.
  Decanted 1 hr. Initially intense fruit, closed slightly then opened up with stewed plum notes. Ripe with Bordeaux-like elegance and balance. Drinking well now with some life ahead. Delicious. WOTY.
