June 3, 2018 - Light amber with some white peach on the nose. Tart fruit, medium body, some rhubarb with a bit of rs to temper the acid, Kiwi fruit along with the white peach and sour sorrel. Clean and refreshing with some lemon on the finish.

6/4/18, 10:33 AM - Nice review. "Sour sorrel" is an uncommon descriptor for Riesling. I enjoy the fresh, sour flavors of sorrel and have also enjoyed this wine before. I'll keep that in mind the next time I try it as I want to see if that aspect surfaces for me, too.

6/4/18, 2:41 PM - I've commented before that some of my descriptors come from my early years living on the family farm where my cousins pointed out native foods growing in the pasture and local woods. Himalayan or evergreen blackberries, huckleberries and sorrel being a few along with salmonberries and blackcaps(raspberries). I have a glass a night and it develops differing flavors each time as it gets more air. I just leave corked on the counter and follow the development.
