June 2, 2018 - Napa Cabernets + SQN + others (Home): Same as my notes on this wine from last month. Black and purple core fruit (with some streaks of dark red), cassis, spice, and some licorice. More frame and grip than the 2015 Outpost Immigrant (which had somewhat softer edges by comparison). The drive of flavors was nice here too, if not a little youthfully clunky on the front end. Smoothed out nicely through the mid-palate and on the finish. I’d hold this for another year or two still. 94 solid points.

Laughing-you are everywhere on CT. Good for you and your great notes. I think I discussed Bevan wines with you-resulting in my purchasing a three pack. Just so you know I have been drinking wine for over 45 years. The bad part of that number means I am old. Grin

11/11/18, 8:16 AM - Hi again Dave... Yeah I suppose I do pop up here and there on CT, especially with Napa Cabs and a lot of the Northern California wines. I do enjoy trying all sorts of wines from all over the world, but I certainly do favor my local wineries here in Napa and Sonoma!
