  June 28, 2018 - Nose is like nectar. Honeyed with significant peach and citrus fruits, even bordering on the tropical in this ripe vintage. A little ginger but without the onion peel notes that I often associate with Coutet.
  
  Palate also has the ripe, honeyed fruits, plus some burnt toffee and spicy botrytis character. Moderate acidity, with a relatively long finish. Very enjoyable drinking now, but this wine has decades to go in terms of developing further complexity.
