July 2, 2018 - Nose is cassis and plum, tar leather....mouthfeel is syrupy....flavor is blackberry, touch leather, spice note, fine tannins... some slightly
unusual flavors I can’t describe.. for me not a good QPR

7/2/18, 5:25 PM - Just a couple of questions....did you give it any airtime? What temp did you drink it? Any food to go with it? Thanks! Mark

7/3/18, 8:32 AM - Opened and drank over 3 days in a WineArt machine...so airtime and proper temp...served with a steak day 1 and smoked ribs day 3...
So far I am not nearly as impressed as other reviewers so far....
I had a 2015 Becklyn that I thought was much better...
I have only tried Myriads base cab so far...
With their Syrahs, most have been under performers as well IMO....
I am open to change views as I try more of their wines....

7/3/18, 9:04 AM - I agree with you about the base cab and the syrahs. I think I need to let the syrahs sit a few more years to get the best out of them. Where Mike Smith's Myriads shine, is in his Mid tier and above---Three Twins, Dr. Crane and Beckstoffer fruit, Empyrean, etc. Think of his base Napa Valley cab as you would a good BDX's second wine. That's about what it is.
