  July 16, 2018 - A relatively savoury nose for a McLaren Vale Shiraz. Somewhat redder fruits than I expected, overripe blackberry, raspberry, cocoa, very green, stalky, subtle violets. Took a while for the palate to properly develop, its similar in the fruit profile, white pepper, finish is thinner than I expected considering the detail in the nose. Nevertheless it gets a 91 for the QPR alone.
