July 19, 2018 - An alright wine - nothing to write home about. It might be that I'm not a big fan of this grape and maybe don't understand it. Nose subdued, soft, round a bit like a melon that is not ready to eat. Not a lot of fruit, nuance of wax.
Drinking over an hour, air did not really change the wine at all. Minerals, not dry, not sweet, not fruity, ocean spray saline, distilled water, I'd imagine the vines grew on kind of dead soil/rocks. I will not fill me next allocation from Rhys with this one. This grape is just not for me. Not bad - just not a wine I can even describe or say something I liked or didn't like.3 people found this helpful 3,171 views
