September 1, 1989 - From Burdine’s again. Deep red, no purple. Fresh very youthful nose of cedar and oak. Quite spicy. Plenty of tannin. Concentrated . Nicely balanced. A big Ducru with a long future.

7/23/18, 3:24 PM - Read all your reviews - Just out of curiosity how many bottles did you consume. Were they all 750's. I have a double magnum I have been saving stored in a cool environment - what would you say the chances of it still being good

7/23/18, 4:43 PM - Thanks for reading my notes, markcic.
According to CT, I have 27 notes on ‘70 Ducru, all from standard bottles. The most recent one was two days ago and was outstanding. If well stored, your DMag should be great. Even in this format, there is no more to gain from additional bottle age, so look for an excuse to pop the cork. I hope you decide to post your note on CT so I can read it.
