  July 30, 2018 - Very interesting, you would not know this a Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot due to the upbringing. It’s very rich and extracted with a Merlot-like mouthfeel. Velvety. It’s almost syrupy for a Pinot with overripe prune and raisin notes. Seriously, then first note on the nose is Port. Very full-bodied, ripe and even slightly sweet with a touch of residual sugar. Just slightly off-dry. Very interesting and unexpected offering, I liked it.
