  August 1, 2018 - t’s humid and muggy in DC, and for someone who isn’t big into white wine, that means I’m looking for some nice summer reds. I definitely steer more towards the savory and Burgundian pinots, which this is not. Nevertheless, over the course of three days the candied and floral fruit melded with the wonderful delicate spice and earthy undertones and developed the silkiest texture. Long finish that lingers and lingers. Overall a nicely balanced and a pure expression of the terroir.
