  July 27, 2018 - Not as good a bottle as previous, starting on the downhill run with dark fruits, black currant, veering from jammy to porty, coupled with dry earth and tar. The palate is very smooth, with very fine tannins. The finish is like a rich Christmas cake, with ripe fruit, spice, but again starting to go port-like.

  8/5/18, 1:33 PM - The port characteristic is slight cork taint. I've had a few bottles of 05 Command with the same thing. Unaffected bottles are magnificent with many years left in them.
