  August 15, 2018 - decanted one hour. this is rounding out some from the last bottle, about 2.5 years ago. still sturdy, petite sirah still testifying in the blend; moderate tannins scraping on the finish. shows more potential for continued cellaring & while not exactly charming, remains a testament to the consistency of the wines from Ridge & this site. well-chosen food to accompany is key.
