August 28, 2018 - Quite tasty medium dark fruit, medium body, fine tannins, bit of spice; later as it opens further, the nose shows some jammy fruit, with somewhat riper sweet fruit on the palate, tannins become somewhat coarse. I keep hoping this producer will rise to the level i hope for given the vineyard source, but while quite a nice wine, it fails to distinguish itself and make it into the top tier of Cornas for me.

I enjoyed a number of Robert Michel Geynale before Paris took over, but I haven't experienced a Paris wine that got to the level of RM. I think he is making strides, but not quite there.
