  August 30, 2018 - This was a better bottle than the last one but still a little disappointing in terms of JGs score and the vintage. The fruit is a little muted and savory which while attractive doesn't really make it a delicious wine. Of course it's possible we are drinking them too young. I have one more bottle which I will put away for a few years. Perhaps I'm bring a curmudgeon but so far I don't believe that these LaFouge wines deserve the adulation and scores they receive. Their main virtue is their low price, so perhaps you get what you pay for.
