  May 31, 2008 - what on earth made me keep this bottle so long. i should have realized from low scores given by others that the wine was not living up to its glorious beginnings. this wine was oxidized, almost to the point of being undrinkable. but, being a glutton for punishment, i consumed the wine with unfulfilled delusions that succeeding glassfulls might be better. this bottle had one of the tightest fitting synthetic closures that i have ever come across. so, unless there is something i dpm't understand, i can't blame the wine's condition on that. it would not be fare to offer any additional comment.
